Castello del Trebbio Farmhouse
 Castello del Trebbio is located on the top of the S.Brigida hills, immersed in the Tuscany countryside. It was built by the Pazzi family and after the Pazzi conjure, when this family tried to kill Lorenzo de Medici in a famous Twelfth Century intrigue, the Medici family converted it into a mansion.
Now it is an active farm where the current owners produce wine and oil in a 60 hectares of several wineyards and 10.000 olive trees.
There are also available some apartments around the castle, where their guests can make a wide range of activities, from cooking classes to Italian courses, from painting classes to mountain biking. Horse riding either around the practice ring or through the beautiful native forest is another possibility we can arrange.
Private or small groups wine tours in the old wine cellar can be arranged in order to have a little taste of Tuscan flavours.
Otherwise, at 1,5 km there is the Castello del Trebbio farmhouse for a genuine Tuscan popular menu and for other activities.
If the apartments are rented for one whole week, the trasport from Florence to Castello del Trebbio farmhouse will be included.
we also offer the visit of the castle cellar with wine tasting, including a lunch in the farm, after wine cellar visits, for groups of about 6-8 persons.
In the Castle there is also a farm shop, were you can buy their wines, oils and saffron produced in the Castello di Trebbio Tuscany farm.
