LODGING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BOOKING AGREEMENT
The booking is not accepted until the signed authorisation to withdraw 30% of the total amount as a booking deposit has been received by Universo Immobiliare.
If the booking is cancelled within 15 days prior to the client arrival, the booking deposit of 30% will be automatically converted into a penalty for non-arrival and will not be refunded.
All cancellations or modifications in the length of stay must be in writing and become effective on the date of receipt by Universo Immobiliare.
2. PAYMENT
The amount due is to be paid upon arrival in Florence, in our office in via il Prato, 19/r.
3. SECURITY DEPOSIT
An inprint of your credit card is required for all properties as a security deposit to cover any excessive cleaning, loss or damage to the property being rented, or for any unpaid charges.
The client is responsible for checking the property is left in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and in the same condition of repair as upon arrival.
4. LIABILITY
Universo Immobiliare is not responsible or liable for any accident, loss, damage, injury, temporary defects or interruption of any utilities or inconvenience arising from the rental, except insofar as that occurrence is caused by the direct negligence of Universo Immobiliare or that of its employees.
5. COMPLAINTS
Should any problem occur with the property, the client should inform Universo Immobiliare of the problem within 48 hours. Failure to do so will void any refund.
6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Unless otherwise agreed, check-in is between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or 15:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m. Check-out is between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise agreed. The apartment is expected to be left in the condition it was found.
N/B: The surcharge for arrivals and departures everyday after 18:00 p.m., Saturday after 12:00 p.m., Sundays or bank holidays, is € 52 + IVA.
7. JURISDICTION
Universo Immobiliare and its client agree that this contract shall be governed by Florence law, and that exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of this contract shall be in the courts located in Florence, Italy.
